Where can you get stamped?
So you may be looking to add a luxurious finish to your patio, or another surface. The amazing thing about concrete is that it truly can be as smooth as a tile, and we can make your surface look like brick, flagstone, limestone, or wood. Aside from that, there are decorative touches that can be made for kitchen countertops, flooring, and coffee tables.
What colors can we do?
There is a multitude of colors we can stamp! Stamped concrete includes two shades: a base shade, and an accent shade. We have different methods to create the base color, and both create the same beautiful finish.
For one method, we mix the concrete with the color in our concrete truck. The color is mixed in before the pouring begins.
The other method we do is occasionally use a color hardener - just note that this will create a harder surface.
How many patterns are there to choose from?
We also have several patterns you can choose from for your concrete stamp finish. To be a little more specific, we have over 70 options. We will help you narrow down the choices based on what the unique pattern types such as: stone, brick, slate, texture, and wood. Looking at these patterns, will give you a frame of reference for what direction to go in as we get more granular in finalizing your design.

Decorative concrete really does look so good, you can’t deny that when you pull up to a home with a stamped concrete driveway it was a wow factor! So why shouldn’t your driveway be the same?
Enough about driveways though, are there any other projects involving concrete that you’ve been thinking about taking the plunge in?
Another project we love completing and making our clients so happy with, is
stamped concrete interior flooring. Having a uniquely patterned concrete floor will really enhance the look of your kitchen and/or living room. Let’s go over a few of the patterns available:
- Checkerboard - this concrete pattern looks like checkerboard flagstone and we create large tile blocks. A timeless classic.
- Leaves - leaf designs are an artistic concrete pattern and can be done in many different sizes and colors. It’s picture perfect for a home that’s immersed in nature.
- Medallion - if you have a family crest, or a logo you designed yourself, you can get it installed on your floor with our method.
- Border - this is a mixture of two patterns. Essentially, there will be a seamless fusion of the two, by having one be the main pattern, and the other being installed on the edges.

Let’s talk patios for a minute. What are the main things you are looking for in a patio builder?
Well…
For one, you may want to know how long the turnaround time is. How many times do we need to come over and work on it?
It varies a bit, based on the specific project and how large the patio is - but typically, it takes us 2 days to get it done.
What colors do you recommend?
Again there are a multitude of shades, but we recommend you go darker as opposed to light, because the color will fade slightly over time. Wear & tear, ya know…
Fear not, for paver stones are extremely durable, and they will last you a many years to come and still look beautiful.
How do we know if it’s safe to dig in each yard?
Well this is a big part of the initial layout process.
It’s crucial that we determine the optimal paver base thickness, because this is correlated with how long your patio will last.
First, we use spray paint to mark the areas that we will need to dig out. We will be sure to confirm your draining and water systems do not become compromised and the pavers do not go right on top of them, as well as any cables you may have for your electrical systems.
So back to the digging - how deep we dig is determined by the type of stone we opt for, and if it’s gravel or sand that will be underneath. Usually, we need to dig about 9 inches or so. If growing moss in between the pavers is something you are interested in, we will work with you on that also.
